☼ Triggers ☼

Hi, my name is Sam, and I suffer from severe hemophobia, or the fear of blood/gore. I’ve dealt with this fear for many years now, so I ask very politely that you tag any sort of post that you reblog with blood, guts, organs, or gore. I blacklist just about every trigger tag for those kinds of things you could imagine, so just tagging something with ‘blood’ will be blocked for me.

Another trigger I’d like you to take heed of is the popular topic of daddy issues. I don’t find it funny. I really don’t. I’ve had awful experiences with the topic of fathers in my life, so just be sensitive to this subject and don’t joke about it. This goes for prodding at my muse as well. Trunks is a human being too, and I care about him more than anything. I won’t tolerate harassment towards him about his ‘daddy issues’, which he tends to wind up being the butt of every joke of when it comes to Dragon Ball. Just don’t.

I make sure to tag absolutely everything that could possibly be triggering, but if there’s something I’m not tagging that you’d like to be tagged, please let me know, I’ll tag it from then on out.

☼ Shipping/Nsfw/Etc. ☼

Trunks is a Demiromantic Asexual. He is sex repulsed, and the entire concept of sexual intercourse or sexual encounters not only frightens him very much, but places him in uncomfortable situations he is not situated to. He won’t shame others for liking sex, but he, himself, will not associate with it. This applies to any sort of threads and etc. I, too, am underage, so no NSFW content (aside from crack-related roleplays) will take place on this blog in rp.

Mirai Trunks isn’t that hard to form a friendship with, but with romance, it’s different. It takes time, as any good romance should. Of course pre established relations can be discussed with me, but if you’re relying solely on in character content to create the bond between muses, it’ll take more than a couple of threads. Please respect that. Whether your muse is some beautiful Goddess or handsome warrior, the process is still all the same. It takes TIME.

I am not interested in shipping Trunks with anyone from DBZ. As far as the whole Trunks x Mai fiasco goes, I could care less, but at the same time, I cannot express my hatred for that ship as a whole. I honestly dislike Super with a passion. I’m not a fan of any of the fandom ships for Mirai Trunks, and prefer him to stay single and content throughout the series.

☼ Original Characters ☼

I honestly really do love ocs, but I’ve seen so many thoughtlessly pieced together ocs, I’m so hesitant at the same time. Please read this if you’re roleplaying an original character.

If you’re a Dragon Ball oc, I really hate to say this, but there’s a very high chance I won’t give you a follow back. I check out blogs, I always do, so if you follow and don’t get a follow back from me within the next few days, I apologize, but I couldn’t take an interest in your character. Again, my apologies.

As for other ocs, I’m usually more open to them considering I know my way around a lot of fandoms and their character’s abilities within their universe, but I always look at oc about pages before I follow back. I check that shit man. All I’m looking for is at least a character information sheet. Not some stupid quote as your “about” page. I need a description. If the blog is under construction, I’ll check back in a couple of days, but if nothing has changed, I’ll move on.

Regardless of this, I love original characters. As long as you have information and your character isn’t some sort of crazy mary-sue, you’ll usually get a follow back from me depending on the circumstances.

As a side note, I will not roleplay with Xenoverse Ocs or anything relating to Xenoverse.

Don’t get me wrong, I like the game, but I hate the idea of rping anything from it. Time Patroller Trunks isn’t exactly my thing. I like him, but that isn’t the future he’d want, and it’s not the one he deserves.

☼ What Being “Private” Entitles Me To ☼

Yeah, I know a lot of people wear the “private” label as just a fancy title, but I try to take it more seriously here. This is my safe space. Trunks is my precious baby I’ve molded to make him something more than what the show has already given him. I’ve got more than a year of roleplaying him specifically, so I’d like this whole “private” thing to be treated with a little respect. That’s all I ask.

I will not roleplay with non-mutuals.

In other words, my blog is mutually exclusive. Being mutuals with someone means that you are following them, and they are following you. Check before you send me an ask if I’m following you back or not. I just deleted asks or ignore starters from non-mutuals. This is just a no brainer.

Being private also means that you do your best to respect me allowing you into my safe space with a follow back. I don’t take kindly to harassment, bullying, or anonymous hate. It’s not tolerated, and it will be deleted, followed with a block. Stay in your late, as I do my best to stay in mine. I understand I have opinions some will disagree with, but do so respectfully. Don’t expect me to bat even an eyelash at your opinion if you come at me aggressively.

☼ Exclusivity ☼

My blog is automatically mutually exclusive. I don’t follow duplicates of characters, and I ask you to do the same. No, it’s not a requirement, but my anxiety really can’t handle seeing other Trunks roleplayers on my dashboard or interacting with my friends and mutuals. It’s a turn off, which I can only take as you’ve gained more of an interest with their muse rather than mine, which is perfectly alright. I get it. We have our tastes because we’re humans, but please, keep in mind that if I do see you interacting with other Trunks, I’m going to unfollow. It’s nothing personal whatsoever, but I’d like to keep my safe space as the name suggests. Safe.

If you’re another Trunks roleplayer reading this, you can probably take from what I’ve said that I won’t interact with other Trunks blogs. I just can’t. Sorry.

Here’s my exclusives page. I’m always accepting requests to be mains. Don’t jump the gun and ask me right away though, come talk to me. Plot with me. Have some intent to roleplay with me before you go taking up my exclusive spots. They’re something to respect as well. If we don’t interact as exclusives, or you go missing, and I find another, you’ll most likely be removed from my exclusives list, and unfollowed.

☼ Replies ☼

IMPORTANT: My blog runs on queue. I only answer replies live if I’m really engaged in a thread or something similar to that. Typically, if I’ve finished drafts, my queue sends out two replies a day. Despite of this, I do sometimes fall behind with replies and the queue sits empty, so bear with me, yeah?

I’m the type of roleplayer to match my partner’s length when it comes to replies, just please don’t fire off multiple paragraphs at me first thing. Don’t ignore this, please. I have this rule to ease writing anxiety with me. I hate being pressured to write, and let me tell you, as many pipey 'feel free to not match my length!’s I get, it doesn’t make me feel better. It doesn’t erase that sinking feeling I get in my gut from looking at a huge block of writing. I really can’t stand that feeling, and I’ll drop threads with you for doing this. Ease into the roleplay rather than suffocating me in a wall of text. If you want a longer thread, tell me. It’ll be easier if I have time to think about a reply that’s more lengthy than some one-liner.

Also, I hate purple prose. I don’t fuck with purple prose. I won’t praise you for purple prose. It’s a nuisance, an eyesore, and more importantly, a waste of my fucking time. I’m not flipping through dictionary.com or picking up my old dusty thesaurus from the shelves to translate your glittery garbage. I just won’t.

Anyway…you know what this last part is. Like this post telling me you’ve read my rules. Or don’t. I don’t control you. If you do though, I’ll be more likely to follow back. I like knowing who’s in it to win it with me. :^)

My default verse is set after DBZ once he returns home, and after he slays the androids. By then, Trunks is 6'4’’, 189 lbs., and 24 years of age. He’s a big guy alright. Unless stated otherwise, please keep in mind this information when interacting.

Honestly, okay, I’m not going to bother writing out his whole story because I get that some people who follow me really have no idea what DBZ is about but, I’m going to assume you do.
To sum him up, Trunks is Vegeta’s son from the future. He is a super Saiyan living in an apocalyptic version of the present timeline. His future is overrun by the two Androids known as Androids 17 and 18, who he has tried numerous times to beat, but failed in doing so (nearly costing him his life, and already have costed his mentor, Gohan’s life).
Trunks is a very soft spoken person with incredible manners. He has all the positive attributes of a very kind human being, often offering his help and assistance to those in need. All his actions are just, and he fights for the side of good, only using his alien powers to do the right thing. His personality is rather shy, and he’s easy to embarrass but under more serious circumstances he can be very cold and have no mercy for an enemy. He’s tactical, strong, and a prodigy in the art of battle. A great friend indeed, but met blade to blade, he is a near impossible opponent to defeat.
He wields an enchanted (yes, enchanted) sword given to him by an intergalactic warrior by the name of Tapion. Yes I’m aware there is a lot of controversy about the actual origin of how Trunks came to wield Tapion’s sword, since Wrath of the Dragon’s movie canon does not line up with DBZ’s actual canon storyline for Mirai Trunks, but funimation highly suggests that Mirai Trunks did in fact receive the sword from Tapion.
His outfit consists of a midriff revealing blue jean jacket given to him by his mother with the Capsule Corp logo patched on the left shoulder, and two front breast pockets (one on either side). The jacket is shown to have buttons, but Mirai Trunks is constantly shown to have it unbuttoned entirely, showing his chest, and the collar upturned. His shirt consists of just an average black tank top tucked into his pants (or belt, be it if you will). His pants match, and are a pair of black baggy, what appear to be, sweat pants, with a windbreaker like material to them. They have a single button in front along with a zipper and two pockets on either side.
His belt is a simple light orange fabric material with a single button in the front. It’s a simple design, seeing as you just click it into place. Trunks’ boots consist of the average Capsule Corp brand shoe, with brown pointed fronts and a golden yellow sort of colour to their body. They don’t have laces, and honestly, seem to be velcro.
